About the Business
Roger and Andy are Fairview Garage. Roger Griffin started as an apprentice at Haines & Strange when he was 16 years old and went to join JohnTrainer Car Sales of Cheltenham as the Senior Mechanic in 1977. In 1989 Andrew Fry joined John Trainer Car Sales as Roger's apprentice and qualified in 1992. The pair have worked together ever since. John Trainer retired in November 2001 and it was at this point that Roger and Andy started Fairview Road Garage in the old John Trainer Car Sales workshop. The business was successful and Roger and Andy required more space so Fairview Road Garage moved to 24-28 Sherbourne Street, Cheltenham and became Fairview Garage.
