About the Business
P.A.Gittins, Lion Garage is a small, family run business located on the edge of Hay on Wye. After many years of training and experience working in the motor industry, Phil bought Lion Garage in 1979. Phil is a skilled and passionate mechanic who, when not at work, is preparing or racing one of his classic Motocross bikes. Phil's son Steve has followed in his father's footsteps, having worked at Lion Garage since leaving college in 1995. Over the last few years Steve has progressively been taking over the running of the business.
Along with a passion for all forms of motorsport, Steve has a keen interest in modern technology and the quickly changing motor trade demands. Steve devotes a large amount of time to regular training, keeping ahead of new developments and ensuring Lion Garage has the knowledge to diagnose, repair and maintain your car correctly. Phil's wife Chris assists in the smooth running of the garage.
