Established in 1975, Charles Butler Motor Engineers of Forfar began providing servicing and repairs to the general public. We are a family run business with a small experienced team who provide a reliable, knowledgeable service alongside high quality work. With the increase of automatic transmission production we realised there was a need for specialised attention in this field to cater for the general public and trades demands.

To this end we have invested heavily over the years in training, from the basic 2 and 3 speed transmissions to todays 8 speed and fully electronic transmissions. Along with learning has come the advancement in tooling all the way to computerised diagnostics. As a result of our longstanding expertise our customer base now extends all over Scotland's mainland and islands.
