About the Business
KEN BELL first started training on Alfa Romeo's in the early 1970's for Alfa Romeo. When they relocated he decided to start up on his own. He was one of the first to offer a mobile mechanical service in the area and soon became known for his skill with cars and his reliability. He progressed from one van to eventually building his own workshops as seen in the photograph.
The business expanded over the years and as new models were launched, Ken incorporated them into the range of Alfas that we service, MOT and repair today. Ken was always keen to ensure that his staff kept track of all the latest advances in vehicle technology and as such invested heavily in computerised systems to ensure Alfanatic customers were served well.
In 2012, Ken went into retirement and handed the Alfanatic keys to the new driver - Bob Ravenscroft, owner of Foster and Heanes Group of Companies.
