About the Business
Grease Monkey Garage is owned and operated by Simon Evans, who has nearly 20 years of experience working for local companies. During the latter part of 2018, Simon decided to set up his own business providing mechanical servicing, repairs and MOT preparation in Somerset. Having located suitable premises in early 2019 Grease Monkey Garage Limited was formed and based in Cheddar.
We understand that your time is precious, therefore we offer a ‘Drop ‘n Go’ option for routine car servicing and simple repairs. This allows you to drop your vehicle in the morning and collect it in the evening. Alternatively, we can offer, subject to availability, a courtesy car for your convenience. We provide repairs to the vast majority of mainstream petrol and diesel engine vehicles as well as light vans. Unless otherwise specified, we will normally use genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, although these will be a little more expensive. If budget is an issue we can source good quality non-genuine parts. We can meet all of your automotive needs from our car garage based in cheddar including tyres and wheel alignment, or brakes to cambelts, clutch replacements to engine rebuilds, interim and major services as well as MOT preparation or new car batteries.
